The Science Behind Cupping
Cupping works by having silicone cups suctioned to your skin. The cups are used to create a vacuum, and your skin is drawn toward the inside of the cup through suction. This widens the blood vessels in the affected area, promoting healing and reducing pain. The number of cups used depends on the area being treated and on your goals for treatment.
While you might experience an immediate improvement in your symptoms after one treatment, it usually takes 4 to 6 treatments to get the full extent of benefits.
