How It Works
The Science Behind PRP & LED Hair Restoration
Drawing on your body’s innate ability to heal itself, PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) hair restoration treatments promote hair growth by injecting a concentration of platelets in plasma (derived from your blood) directly into your scalp.
LED hair restoration treatments use low-level wavelengths of red light to energize the mitochondria in the cells in your scalp, stimulating follicle repair and activation.
It may take 3 to 6 months and several rounds of treatments for noticeable results to develop. You may start to see results before then, but it’s important you continue to follow the treatment plan determined by you and your provider.
For successful long-term hair restoration, get started as soon as you can. Hair restorations are not as effective in treating areas where baldness has developed. Additionally, you’ll need to be consistent with your touch-up appointments.
